Important Announcement
Due to an unexpected personal circumstance, I will be unavailable for trading for the rest of the week. I will be flying out of town tomorrow and returning on Sunday. Unfortunately, I will not be able to produce a bulletin on Wednesday or Thursday evening. The next bulletin will be on Sunday, June 5, 2005. Tonight's commentary is brief with no charts but I have updated comments on bulletin stocks that warrant one tonight. I apologize for the short notice but this situation could not be helped and requires my immediate attention.
Market Recap
Stocks retreated today as the pullback that we have been expecting showed up after the long holiday weekend. This is the weakness that we were looking for when I mentioned that the market was due for some profit taking, after the large run-up it has had. The DOW lost 75 points, the NASDAQ lost 8 points, and the S&P was also down 8 points. Although we have been expecting some selling, our bulletin stocks are looking very strong at this point. Some are advancing while others are holding their own, resting while the market pulls back. The bulletin has many of the strongest stocks in the market and we know that we have the right stocks when the market is down while most of our stocks are green. These are the stocks to buy when the market pauses, as I believe it did today. Although I will not be available the rest of the week, I believe our positions are very strong and will hold up and do well for the next three days. My advice is to hold them and let them run. If you would rather lock in a profit, you should keep very tight stops. I will keep the positions open in the trade record while I am gone because I believe we will be in good shape if we just hold them and let them work for us. See you Sunday evening.

Click the online bulletin in the left side menu for access to the earning calendar for each stock listed. It is not recommended to hold a position through earnings. You can always buy the stock back after the dust settles.
