Good evening friends,
Today was a lackluster day in the markets. With the Dow closing up only 11 points and the NASDAQ finishing down 3 points, there was not much to write home about at all. Due to today's flat trading I expected to find very few charts tonight that would look good enough to add to the bulletin. Surprisingly, I found several, and I have added them for you tonight. The NASDAQ has now been down for 5 days in a row, and today it closed just above the 33 DEMA. This could be a good area for a bounce. Normally, 7 days is about the most times in a row a market will close down. Because we are getting very close to over sold levels on some indicators, near the 33 DEMA, and down 5 days in a row, I think a bounce is due. Although the chart of the NASDAQ does not look promising, we can still play stocks that don't necessarily trade in the direction of the NASDAQ. For instance, OTC BB stocks trade independently, and they are often uninfluenced by overall market direction. Some of the small cap stocks on the NASDAQ trade irrespective of the market direction as well. There will always be stocks going up even if the over all market trades sideways.
We Have a New Home
Over the weekend, we migrated to a new ISP (Internet Service Provider). As TradeWithPizzaDriver grows, our need grow as well, and we are always looking ahead to ensure that our website infrastructure meets our needs. Our website is now hosted on a Load Balanced platform, meaning that the website is hosted simultaneously on two physically different servers. If one server is taken off line for whatever reason, the second server will immediately pick up the slack without any interruption in service. This redundancy is typically associated with mission critical applications and high traffic websites (think Yahoo), but it is the type of service that we want our subscribers to have.
Alerts
I sent 3 alerts this morning that were inadvertently sent through the old web page thus not getting to the new web page. They did make it to your email boxes, but if you rely on the alerts page for alerts then you missed these alerts and I apologize for that. This was my fault; Mike worked very hard to complete the transfer this weekend and did a wonderful job. I am now on the right page so alerts should not be a problem again. I thank you for your patience during this upgrade.
Scouts
I have a scout meeting tonight so this commentary is abbreviated tonight. I wanted to get the Bulletin out before my meeting, rather then wait until I returned. A shorter commentary will allow me to get the bulletin out before my meeting. This would make it very late for people who live on the east coast. I'll be back tomorrow with a full commentary.
Scans
I have not fully completed scans for tonight; I still have a few to run when I get home. If I find any other stocks, I'll have them for you in a special alert later tonight or pre-market tomorrow. They will officially be added to the bulletin tomorrow night.
One of last nights BB stocks (GTEL) was up 31% today and closed at the high of the day on 2X volume.
As always, thank-you for your support past, present and future! Have a great night everyone; we'll see you all Tuesday evening.
