Good evening friends,
This Bull market keeps racing forward with another great day on Friday. Techs and small caps continue to forge ahead at an alarming pace. NASDAQ made a new 52 week high again on Friday, and even more importantly, it closed above it's 200 week moving average (2128). That is very good news for anyone holding long positions. The good news just keeps coming to the market in droves. The Michigan sentiment numbers released Friday morning were much better than expected and that kicked things off in full stride. I anticipated the market would have a good day, and I wanted to be around for it. Unfortunately, my plans could not be changed. However, I did set up some orders before the open and most of them were filled. I sent the alert for these in advance so I hope you were able to act on them. Some of these did very well. Networking stocks were up Friday on JNPR's great news. JNPR is 2nd to CSCO in this area so the good news set all networking stocks in motion very quickly.
Small Caps are the Big Dogs
Small caps continue to dominate this market. I hope you are beginning to see what I've been trying to drive home since this service began. I have mentioned many times before that the history of small caps shows that they always lead the way when going from bear markets into new bull markets. This is why I have been in small caps since the end of the bear market and start of this great bull market back in the spring of 2003. I have actually been in small caps since October of 2002. I have also stated that small caps would lead the way in 2004, and judging the Bulletin's 52 week high list, it looks like that prediction is off to a great start. We have 21 Bulletin stocks making new highs tonight. Are you ready for this? Here they are NOOF, SPIL, SSPX, VNWK, IKN, VC, TGAL, CRGN, IONA, UPCS, ITIG, ANSR, TXCC, AIRN, ISO, CMGI, AMCC, INSG, IDEV, EGLS, and ONNN.
Locked and Loaded: Part 2
I have some good news and some bad news tonight. First, the good news: you'll notice that tonight's Bulletin has more than 50 stocks. This will not be the norm. We have more than 50 because some are being removed tomorrow night, but I didn't want to wait until Tuesday night to get the new stocks listed. These new stocks needed to be listed tonight because of the explosive potential they have. I don't want to risk waiting to list them and missing a possible big move on Tuesday. We should be back to 50 stocks tomorrow night, once these others are removed. What a terrible position to be in tonight folks - here is the bad news. Unfortunately we are going to have to drop some “really great stocks” from the bulletin to make room for some “really great stocks”. Sounds kind of strange but what I mean is, there are so many small cap stocks moving right now that some are moving up faster than others. So even though some stocks have been steady gainers, they just aren't moving fast enough to stay on the Bulletin. Remember, we want to make money as fast as we can. It's a tough decision; it's like having Jeter and Arod on the same team. Which one would you trade? (Well, I'd keep them both and move one to 3rd base! LOL) I wish it was that easy with stocks, but when you don't have enough cash to buy 50 stocks, you have to let one go to get another.
For the active OTC BB players, here are a couple to watch for moves IPVO and TCHL
Quite honestly, I wouldn't even bother with OTC BB's right now with so many stocks on the bulletin to choose from. It's amazing. Have a great weekend everyone; we'll see you all Tuesday evening.
