Good evening friends,
Christmas is almost here and Santa Claus has arrived on Wall Street just in time. The Dow powered ahead today and managed to reach a high of over 10,250, Amazing!! The NASDAQ made a run of it's own for once and almost touched 1960 as both indexes closed near the highs of the day. If you recall, I said last week that the Santa clause rally would most likely happen this week. The Dow has been strong all week and the NASDAQ finally got something going today. This is all wonderful news but it would be even better if the small cap stocks were participating in this big market move. They are still lagging behind and that's why you haven't seen much trading activity from me over the past week or so. I still say having stock piles of cash going into the New Year is going to pay off for us. Once we get into January, it's my belief that we'll see a rotation from big caps back into the small caps. Of course nothing is guaranteed but there is a high probability of this happening IMO.
The Energy Sector
I've provided you with a link to stocks in the energy sector tonight http://tinyurl.com/yqsbu Use this link to research some stocks using TA that you've learned from our service. Test yourself by posting your picks or charts to the message board for us to look at. I chose the energy sector because that is one of the hot sectors right now and some small caps in this sector have been moving up. Some are setting up well and this weekend, I'm going to be researching charts in this sector and if I find any stocks ready for breakout I'll have them for you. When you are looking for these stocks, please remember not to post OTC BB's to the message board or any low volume stocks, many of these in this link are low volume so be aware of that. Some BB stocks do move well, so there may be exceptions if you see a chart that is a screaming buy, go ahead and post it. The ones I've highlighted here in the last few days like CDSS last night and IMGG the night before have done well. Check out those charts In the ‘All Charts' section of the website and then look at their closing prices today. :o)
I did find some good chart patterns tonight to add to the bulletin but these will not be big percentage gainers like we are used to. We are having to up the ante a little now and go for some of the little more higher priced stocks because there is nothing left that looks good at the bottom of the barrel. I'm still trying to keep them under 10.00 for now but even those are getting scarce. These new stocks will be good for decent gains over time or if you are a short term trader, good for 5-10% day or swing trade. If it's all we got, then we have to take it and all these little gains will add up very fast if you get a good string of winners.
I will be available tomorrow for only the first hour or two of trading and then I am taking the rest of the day off. I have plenty of last minute shopping to do for the holiday. Have a great night everyone; I'll see you all Sunday evening.

Reminder **Holiday schedule** The Bulletin will be produced on 21- 23 December. The market is open a half day on the 24th and 26th of December. I will not produce a bulletin on Christmas day for the 26th half day of trade. The next bulletin after the 23rd will be Sunday the 28th. I will produce a bulletin on New Year's day for the 2nd of January trading.
