Good evening friends,
Friday's trading was another non-event as both the Dow and NASDAQ continue to be stuck in a holding pattern for right now. We took a hit on CORV Friday when some news came out they lost a government contract. This news sent the stock down over 30% in pre-market and when a stock takes that much of a hit before it opens, there is not much you can do. I chose to hold my shares because I believe it's an over reaction and it will come back. CORV will benefit from the telecom come back in the future so there is now need to panic over this. It will take time for it to come back because the chart has been damaged by this gap down so you may be holding this awhile. If you bought TXCC at the same time, then you are at break even between the two. What CORV has lost, TXCC has gained so hopefully; you are not in bad shape. Now on to our Bulletin stocks, some making 52-week highs on Friday include LPSN, ELC, NOOF and TXCC. I am getting several requests for me to distinguish between long and short term trades on the Bulletin. As I have said many times before, they're not many stocks I buy for the long term. I am a short-term swing trader so my opinion of stocks changes frequently base solely on chart patterns. It wouldn't be fair of me to tell you that I think a stock is a good long term trade and then a month later tell you I have changed my mind. Your Idea of long term could be much longer then my opinion of long term is. Everyone's idea of long term is different so I'm not sure there is any value to me adding this to the bulletin. However, because so many people have asked, I will attempt it, as long as you understand that I am not a long-term investor and my opinion is subject to change on a dime if a chart turns down. I have added a small column on the Bulletin between the symbol and category columns. In this column you will find a (L) for long term if I feel It's a long-term hold. Again, I'm not sure there is any added value to this new feature but I am trying to do as requested. This is your Bulletin and I want to provide you with what you are looking for as best I can. To all of you who have joined in on the shady challenge, I wish you the best of luck. Congrats to Trudy for winning last week. Beat by a monkey, who would have “thunk”, it? I'll see you all Monday night
