Good evening friends,
Another solid advance today in the markets as these markets are telling us “Get in or get left behind”. By that I mean, the Bull is on the loose and you better be buying every dip you can find in strong stocks. What a fast and ferrous comeback the NASDAQ has made in just the last 5 trading days. It's gone from 1790 to over 1900 and is within 6 points of a new 52-week high if you can believe that. It sneaked up on us fast and now threatens a possible double top. I would really like to see some side ways trading here for a week or so to digest these quick gains. A little basing process is good for the market and will also allow for charts to set up for a good advance. The markets are over bought and are in need of a rest but then again, Bull markets can remain over bought for a long time hence 1998-1999 (the Bubble). I mentioned in a prior bulletin that stocks need to set up before we can get in and this would take a few days. And now I'm starting to fines a few charts setting up well and are ready to advance soon providing the market can continue positively. Funny how all these charts seem to come together and set up at the same time. Pay close attention tonight to the comment area of the bulletin. I have listed Buy points on a few stocks I think can take off as early as tomorrow. The key will be if the NASDAQ can get through it's 52 week high and stay there through the day and of course close above the previous high. Stocks on the Bulletin today making 52-week highs include TWTC; there is no letting up with this one. TMTA, a nice Gap up this morning on an upgrade and a price target of $5.00. I normally don't buy news of an upgrade because the dumbobarries usually cause the gap up with panic buying and then the stock comes back down. I want in this stock, but I think we can wait for weakness and still get in at a reasonable price. This is one of those strong stocks you buy on pullbacks in a bull market I've been telling you about. GENR also made a new high today. I bought MANU today and alerted you about 30 minutes after the open and it closed at a new high for the year on record volume. MSSN also cleared another buy point I had for you in a chart last night and it to closed at the high of the day. If the market looks good tomorrow, I plan on putting some cash to work so be watching for alerts on stocks with buy points in tonight's bulletin. Here are a few higher priced stocks that I won't be putting on the Bulletin but as I explained in my commentary last night, if you are a bigger player and have enough cash, you can trade these stocks tomorrow as I will be doing. They are, PSTI, ADIC, RSAS and AUGT. I may start listing some of these day trading stocks for you full time traders out there at the end of the commentary each night but it may not be a regular feature until I know, it's a welcome addition and enough of you want to see them. I'll just call them BONUS plays for now and they will not count in the official Trade Record. I'll see you all Wednesday night.
* REMINDER- I am coaching in a fall baseball tournament in Nevada on the 16-18 Oct. It's a five-hour drive so I will be leaving Wednesday night the 15th. Because of this, only a quick Bulletin will be issued the 15th. I will issue a full Bulletin from Nevada Thursday evening from the hotel providing I have connection. If not, there will be no Bulletin for that night. I will not be on the boards Thursday or Friday the 16th and 17th but will view all posts in the evenings from the hotel. This is the final baseball tournament of the season.
